The word of God declares that God wants his people filled with the knowledge of his will. Part of the will of God is the assembly of ourselves together to celebrate the life of Christ. The Lord wants us to come together to be taught the plain truth of God's word and to worship him together and fellowship with other believers. We here at Destined to Win Christian Center are under the umbrella of his will. The word of God is taught with clarity and revelation as we build kingdom people. We are not here to use people to build a ministry. We endeavor to use the ministry to build people. There are many fine churches and Pastor's in the Chicago land area and we know God has a church home awaiting your arrival. My desire is that if you don't have a church home that you will come and visit us a few times and give the Lord a chance to speak to your heart on whether Destined to Win Christian Center is your place to be served and to be a servant. Pastor Kelvin was born again on August 30, 1982. His immediate experience with God was life changing as he embraced the journey of faith. The Lord dealt with Pastor Kelvin extensively as he began to grow in his relationship with Christ. Pastor Kelvin accepted the call to ministry a year after accepting Christ. Pastor Kelvin was a willing servant at United Faith Temple Church under the leadership of Pastor C. L. Easter. He served in whatever capacity necessary and was groomed, ordained and spiritually fathered by Pastor C. L Easter for 13 years. In May of 1995 Pastor Kelvin and his wife were released by God to assist and be a protégé under the late Pastor James E. Watson of Abundant Life Teaching Center in Harvey, Illinois. Here he was mentored and father into another level of ministry. Pastor Kelvin served Abundant Life Teaching Center for 9 ½ years as a teacher, minister and available servant. In March of 2004 at the request of his ailing mentor he was asked to assist Pastor Walter. L. Dean as Assistant Pastor. Here he served faithfully as Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor until June of 2005.  In June of 2005 the Lord released Pastor Kelvin to prepare for a new church plant in the city of Chicago.   In August 2005 Pastor began a bible study with four people in attendance. On November 5, 2005 Destined to Win Christian Center was established with its first public service. The ministry is located in the city of Chicago (Hyde Park). Pastor Kelvin and his wife Tonya of 17 years are the honorable parents of Chanel J. Easter and Isaiah P. Easter and reside in South Holland, Illinois. Currently Pastor Kelvin is bi-vocational and is employed with DeVry University as a Senior Director of Admissions.
